This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit codemyc.com or write to us through it. It is short because this site does very little with your data.
Codemyc is a software consultancy based in Montevideo, Uruguay. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
What this site collects
Nothing at all while you read it. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no tracking or advertising scripts. Nothing about your visit is stored in your browser.
What you send us in the contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to answer you and to scope the work you’re asking about — nothing else. Submissions are delivered to us by our form provider, Formspree, and end up in our email inbox.
Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records the technical data any web server records — IP address, browser user agent, requested page, timestamp — to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use those logs to build profiles or to identify individual visitors.
Anything you send us by email or on a call. If we start a conversation, the correspondence lives in our email and in our project notes.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers below.
Who else handles it
- Formspree — receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to us.
- Our hosting provider — serves the site and keeps standard access logs.
- Our email provider — stores the correspondence.
Each of these processes data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as the conversation or the working relationship is useful, and while any legal or accounting obligation requires it. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
If you are in Uruguay, your data protection rights come from Law No. 18.331 and you may complain to the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we handle your data on the basis of your request to contact us and our legitimate interest in answering it, and you may complain to your national supervisory authority.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and institutions. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above.
